The Atomic Energy and Radiation Protection Act of 2005 for radioactive shipments has been implemented on 16 January 2012, and ACT Logistics is licensed by the Namibian Radiation Protection Authority to transport radioactive shipments. Since approval ACT has handled many different types and sizes of radioactive shipments, this includes sealed sources being exported/imported as well as radioactive samples being shipped across the globe.
